China's AIDS situation

Hello,
I have read many articles about China's AIDs situation or epidemic. In America, there is a strong belief that AIDs is an ever growing threat to China health. According to your news, AIDs is under control. The difference in opinion could caused by many things: China's traditional modest culture, America not having the full facts on China's fight against AIDs, and so on. Whatever the reason, I hope that China successfully fights AIDs.
