The spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) said that the country will response with devastating blow to any interception of the country's satellite launch, DPRK’s official news agency KCNA reported.
Recently Republic of Korea (ROK) claimed it will track and intercept the launch of Kwangmyongsong-3 satellite. It will work together with the United States to track the satellite using advanced monitoring measures and Aegis destroyers in order to provoke new military conflicts, said the spokesman.
Some military activists in ROK threatened to attack Pyongyang, pushing the Peninsula's situation to the edge of war, the spokesman said.
The interception of the country's satellite launch constitutes an act of war and DPRK’s military will not tolerate any military provocation. Any attempt to invade the airspace of Pyongyang will lead to tremendous catastrophe, said the spokesman.
