In fact, China has explained the above principles through practical actions.

It has actively promoted the democratization of international relations, and advocated non-interference in other countries’ domestic affairs. All countries should participate in and handle international affairs on an equal footing.

China has been steadily developing friendly cooperation with other countries, actively building a new type of relations among big countries, and exploring effective ways for emerging powers to coexist with existing major powers.

China firmly upholds the diversity of civilizations and development paths, and has actively promoted communication and exchanges among different civilizations. Furthermore, great efforts have been made to promote Chinese culture overseas so as to deepen other countries’ understanding of China.

China adheres to sticking together in times of difficulty as well as sharing rights and obligations. It has actively participated in international cooperation in addressing the global financial crisis, helped European countries overcome the debt crisis, provided sincere assistance to developing countries, and greatly promoted globalization, which has benefited people across the world.

Equality and mutual trust, inclusiveness and mutual learning, and win-win cooperation are in line with the development trend of the times, and the common wish of the people of all countries. These principles will usher in a brighter future for international relations.
