PALM SPRINGS, the United States, June 7 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Barack Obama arrived Friday afternoon at Palm Springs, California, for his first summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Obama arrived at Palm Springs International Airport aboard Air Force One. He will then travel to the nearby Annenberg Retreat at Sunnylands, Rancho Mirage, to meet with Xi.
Xi, who arrived in California on Thursday, is on the final leg of his four-nation Americas trip, which has already taken him to Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica and Mexico.
