Li Bingbing, one of China’s top actresses, was born in Harbin on Feb. 27, 1973. She didn’t start out as an actress. She was a music teacher at a primary school. With her fondness of arts, Li entered the Shanghai Drama Institute to study acting. After graduation, she starred in many films and TV dramas, receiving lots of favorable response.

Li Bingbing has started building her profile on the world stage since her performance in the “Forbidden Kingdom” with Jackie Chan, and “Resident Evil: Retribution” She will be appearing in “Transformers: Rise of Galvatron”. Hollywood magazine “Variety” named her as 2013 Asian Star of the Year.
