The 15th Aviation Expo China kicked off at the China National Convention Center in Beijing on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013. Well-known international aviation companies, including Boeing, Honeywell, Bombardier, MTU, IAE, Bell Helicopter, Motor-Sich, Esterline and AVISMA are present at the expo. The expo, known as the only aviation exhibition permitted in Beijing, is a biennial event initiated in 1983.
Covering an exhibition of 17,000 square meters, the expo showcases models of the state-of-art aircraft across the world. They include China-made J-10 fighter, Xiaolong fighter, L15 trainer, Xinzhou series civil aircraft and AC series civil helicopters. Models of Boeing 737 Max, 777-300ER, 787 and 747-8, and Airbus A350XWB wide-body aircraft and A380 cabin cross section are displayed at the exhibition.
Visitors can also attend the flying dynamic exhibition at the Badaling Airport in Yanqing County from September 26 to 29.
