A former bank official, dubbed as “house sister” for amassing 44 properties under multiple fake identities, was today sentenced to three years in jail in northwest China’s Shaanxi Province for forging official documents.
Gong Ai’ai, a former vice president of a rural bank in Shaanxi, had denied forging, buying and selling ID papers at the trial heard earlier at Jingbian County People’s Court.
The court didn’t accept her words.
She bought two household registration IDs for herself and her daughter in 2005 in order to buy houses in Beijing. She also forged two ID cards under the names Gong Xianxia and Gong Ai’ai in 2007 and 2008 in Shenmu County, the court said.
