The zoo's month-long online event to vote for an official name of the giant panda cub "Yuanzai" is drawing to an end and the result will be announced on Oct. 26. The cub, born on July 6, is the first baby of a pair of giant pandas, namely "Tuan Tuan" and "Yuan Yuan", who were given as a goodwill gift to Taiwan by the Chinese mainland. (Xinhua/Taipei Zoo) |
