EU-China Urbanization Partnership: High Level Conference is a significant measure to implement the consensus identified in the Joint Press Communique reached by EU and Chinese leaders. The theme of the conference is Exchanges, Mutual Benefit and Win-win Result, emphasizing exchanges on how to achieve urban sustainable development through the establishment of the EU-China Urbanization Partnership.
Mr. Li Tie, Director General of CCUD, delivered a speech on How to Promote Future Cooperation on Urbanization in the activity, “Beyond the EU-China Urbanization Partnership”, held by Italy Embassy.
Li Tie said, China’s urbanization has developed fast over the past three decades, which was equivalent to the speed of European urbanization in two to three centuries.
