Yinxing Village, or Gingko Village, is well-known for its natural sceneries, because there are more than 3,000 gingko tress in the village, and many of them are enjoying a history of 500 years. These cherished centennial gingko trees decorate the unique village. People call it "a village built in a forest, and a forest scatted in a village."
You can see some boulevards in the village. Two gingko trees on the east of the village are the oldest and called "mother of gingko". The two trees are full of fruit with luxuriant foliage. Villagers care about the two trees very much and regard them as treasure of the village.
Tips
Several inns and rural home inns in the village offer accommodation. But it costs a lot to eat there, so please make sure to bargain beforehand.
How to get there:
Flight: the daily direct flight from Kunming to Tengchong County
Driving line: Kunming--Dali--Baoshan--Lujiangba (Expressway)
Ruili--Yingjiang--Lianghe--Tengchong (Asphalt Road). It is about 40 km from Tengchong to Gingko Village.
