Russia's state Duma is expected to consider a draft resolution in support of Iran, Iraq and the Democratic People Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Wednesday.

The three countries were recently declared by the U.S. as an " axis of evil."

The slogan of combating terrorism cannot be used by the U.S. to square accounts with Iran, the DPRK and Iraq, the so-called "axis of evil," the Duma says in its draft resolution.

The parliament condemns "the actions of groundlessly labeling and raising barriers to the development of international cooperation," according to the draft resolution worked out by the Duma's International Affairs Committee.
