Senior Chinese Military Officer Meets American Guests

Xiong Guangkai, deputy chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, met Monday with a delegation of general officers from the U.S. National Defense University CAPSTONE Program.

Xiong Guangkai, deputy chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, met Monday with a delegation of general officers from the U.S. National Defense University CAPSTONE Program.

The delegation is headed by Admiral Leon A. Edney, USN Retired),former NATO's Supreme Allied Commander, Atlantic and Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Atlantic Command.

The two sides exchanged views over the Sino-U.S. relations and the international and regional security issues.
