China Donates De-mining Equipment to Cambodia

China Thursday handed over a batch of de-mining equipment worth 108,000 US dollars to the Cambodian Mine Action Center.

China Thursday handed over a batch of de-mining equipment worth 108,000 US dollars to the Cambodian Mine Action Center.

This assistance gratis were rendered by China in accordance with an exchange of notes by the two governments.

This was the first such assistance from China to Cambodia where an estimated sum of six to eight million mines are to be de-mined.
