China is shocked at the suicide car bombing outside the U.S. consulate in Karachi, Pakistan on June 14, said its foreign ministry spokesman, Liu Jianchao, in Beijing Saturday.

China is in firm opposition to all terrorism and violent acts,and the country hopes and believes that the domestic situation in Pakistan will remain stable, the spokesman added.
