Nepalese King Starts India Visit
Nepalese King Gyanendra Bir Bikram arrived in New Delhi on Sunday evening, kicking off his six-day state visit to India.

Shortly before emplaning for Delhi, the Nepalese King said in astatement that his visit would help to further strengthen bilateral relations.
Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will meet the King and the two leaders are expected to exchange views on regional andinternational issues of mutual concern.
This will be the second meeting between the two leaders since January when Vajpayee had met the King at the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit in Kathmandu, Nepal's capital.
India is attaching considerable significance to the visit, the first abroad by Gyanendra since he acceded the throne in June lastyear following the Palace massacre.
