Vietnam to Donate 5,000 Tons of Rice to DPRK

Vietnam will donate 5,000 tons of rice, worth 1 million U.S. dollars, to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Vietnam News Agency reported Wednesday.

Vietnam will donate 5,000 tons of rice, worth 1 million U.S. dollars, to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Vietnam News Agency reported Wednesday.

This is the second time that Vietnam has donated food aid to the DPRK in the past two years. The donations aim to help the DPRK people overcome the difficulties imposed by natural calamities.

On behalf of the government and people of the DPRK, DPRK Ambassador to Vietnam Ri Hong expressed his sincere thanks to Vietnam for its support and assistance.
