Int'l Rock Concerts to Be Staged in Hong Kong

International rock concerts are expected to be staged here next Thursday and Friday as one of the celebration programs of the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the concerts will include the performances by rock stars from Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and China's mainland.

The Concerts will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium Arena. There will be different rock bands for the two evenings and the audiences can enjoy three unique styles of rock music in each concert, said a spokesman from the department.
