Asian Wall Street Journal Closes

Publication of The Asian Wall Street Journal Weekly, which has provided North America with business news on the Asian-Pacific region every Monday for 23 years, ceased on July 1.

Publication of The Asian Wall Street Journal Weekly, which has provided North America with business news on the Asian-Pacific region every Monday for 23 years, ceased on July 1.

Employees of Dow Jones were told of the closure in a letter from the president of Dow Jones international, Karen House.

" We have reluctantly concluded that the Weekly is no longer a publication that makes business sense for Dow Jones," she wrote.

The growth of Dow Jones's global operations and the Online journal made continuing with the small weekly impracttical.
