A supersonic plane model crashed Sunday at Woomera, in South Australia's remote north.

's remote north.
According to the Australian Associated Press, the model was being tested by
Japan
ese researchers and crashed moments after itslaunch.
NAL Japan is developing the next generation of aircraft beyond the Concorde and the crashed 11-meter-long model jet was one-tenthof the size to be built for testing in 2006.
The report said NAL Japan had planned four more test flights atWoomera next year of the model plane.
