FM Spokesman Condemns Shoot-out in Kashmir

China condemns the July 13 shoot-out in Indian-controlled Kashmir and expresses its deep sympathy and condolences to families of the dead and to those injured.

China condemns the July 13 shoot-out in Indian-controlled Kashmir and expresses its deep sympathy and condolences to families of the dead and to those injured.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan made the remarks in Beijing Monday when asked to comment on the shoot-out which resulted in over 50 casualties.

He said China opposes terrorism and violence in any form, and its position on this is firm and consistent.
