Hervas Franciso, head coach of Spain men's volleyball team, said here on Friday that his team would at least win one of the two matches over China at this weekend.

Spain will face China twice on this Saturday and Sunday respectively at the forth round of the 2002 World Men's VolleyballLeague.

Spain made a pre-match training session on Friday with only seven players at the gymnasium of Beijing Aeronautics and Astronautics University.

"It took us 37 hours to fly from Venezuela after the third round. " said Hervas, "we have 12 hours time difference which is quite a big problem for my players. My players were also not fit the Chinese food here, many of them were sick today."

"But we are confident even in this situation. We need one win to qualify in the final round and I think we can win at least one of the two matches."

After defeated Venezuela twice last weekend, Spain hold a unbroken record with six wins and claimed top in the Pool B. Another powerhouse Italy, who was defeated by China last Sunday, ranked second. China, have one win and five loses in hand, listed third and had little chances to advance into the final round.

"We have been good until now, but this is competition, we haveto play game by game." said Hervas.

Aiming the Argentina World Championship on August, Hervas saidhe think they will "do better" than last one. "We listed 8th at last world championship and I think we will do better, because thedifference between semifinal and quarterfinal is only one win. We win the match, we advanced; we lose, we have to go home. It is hard to say we can be in the top four or not."
