Air Route Linking Chengdu and Osaka Opens

A new air route linking Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province, with Osaka in Japanopened recently.

A new air route linking Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province, with Osaka in Japanopened recently.

South Western Airlines' Boeing 757 and 737 passenger aircraft will fly the new route every Monday and Thursday, taking about four hours each flight.

This is the fourth direct air route to Japanese cities operatedby the South Western Airlines.

Chengdu is now the destination of eight international air routes from such overseas cities as Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket inThailand, Katmandu and Seoul.
