Under the recent agreement, the two sides will promote trade and economic cooperation, information exchanges and transferring industrial products.

The ROK association will encourage its 200 member firms to invest in Liaoning and set up an industrial park in Shenyang, the provincial capital, for small and IT businesses from the neighboring country.

It will also help Liaoning-based companies visit ROK and seek investment.

The agreement would boost the development of the province's economy, Liaoning Governor Bo Xilai said at the signing ceremony.
