Chinese Military Delegation Visits South Korea

An eight-member delegation from the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) arrived in Seoul Tuesday for a visit to South Korea, reported the national news agency Yonhap News.

An eight-member delegation from the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) arrived in Seoul Tuesday for a visit to South Korea, reported the national news agency Yonhap News.

During its stay in Seoul, the delegation, headed by Jinan Military Region's political commissar Lt. Gen. Zhang Wentai, will pay a courtesy call to Defense Minister Lee Jun and Army Chief of Staff Kim Pan-kyu. They will also visit the World Cup Stadium, Gyeongbok Palace and Jeju Island.

The delegation came here just after a successful visit to Mongolia, and it will depart South Korea on Sunday.
