Largest Mainland Chain Retailer to List in Hong Kong

As the biggest and most profit-making supermarket chain on the mainland, Lianhua Supermarket is scheduled to list in Hong Kong for raising funds of over RMB 1bn yuan in a timeframe of half a year.

As the biggest and most profit-making supermarket chain on the mainland, Lianhua Supermarket is scheduled to list in Hong Kong for raising funds of over RMB 1bn yuan in a timeframe of half a year.

Lianhua Supermarket Co., Ltd, which was founded in 1991, has opened 1,300 branches throughout the country, and last year saw its annual sales and profits top 14.44 billion-yuan and 102 million-yuan respectively.

Lianhua's President & CEO Wang Zongnan said that Lianhua will not only list in Hong Kong, but also issue A shares in Shanghai for accelerating its business in five years.
