Terror Attack Suspect Withdraws Guilty Plea

Zacarias Moussaoui, the first suspect accused of conspiring in the September 11 terror attack, told a federal judge Thursday that he would withdraw his guilty plea he entered earlier in the day, local reports said.

Zacarias Moussaoui, the first suspect accused of conspiring in the September 11 terror attack, told a federal judge Thursday that he would withdraw his guilty plea he entered earlier in the day, local reports said.

This came soon after Judge Leonie Brinkema ruled that Moussaouiis mentally competent to plead guilty to terrorism charges that could bring him the death penalty.
