Saturday.
More than 1,000 players and their coaches are involved in the two-day friendly competition to mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and promote exchanges and friendship among youngsters.
Song Jian, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Tomiichi Murayama, former Japanese prime minister, attended the opening ceremony.
