Chinese Construction Minister to Visit Ethiopia

During his visit, the Chinese minister will hold talks with the Ethiopian government officials on the issue of further improving bilateral cooperation in the field of infrastructure development and other issues of common concerned.

Chinese Construction Minister Wang Guangtao is expected to pay a four-day official visit to Ethiopia on Aug. 10.

During his visit, the Chinese minister will hold talks with the Ethiopian government officials on the issue of further improving bilateral cooperation in the field of infrastructure development and other issues of common concerned.

Besides, the minister will also tour Tigray, the northern stateof Ethiopia and attend the operating ceremony of the Tekeze Hydro-Power Project which is being constructed by the China National Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering Corporation at the total cost of some 224 million US dollars.

The Chinese minister is scheduled to leave here for China on Aug. 14.
