The delegation of Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) left the Incheon International Airport Wednesday evening for Pyongyang also via the inter-Korean direct route.

The seventh ministerial talks ended Wednesday afternoon with a joint press statement containing 10 main agreements on pending issues between the two sides.

The two sides agreed to open the second inter-Korean economic cooperation meeting from Aug. 26 to Aug. 28 in Seoul, to hold the fifth reunions of the separated families around Sept. 21 at Mount Geumgang, and to hold military authorities' talks within a short period of time.

The eighth inter-Korean ministerial talks will be held on Oct. 19-22 in Pyongyang, according to the statement.

In his departure address at the Incheon International Airport, the chief delegate of the DPRK, Kim Ryong-song, expressed his satisfaction of the "excellent" joint statement, which "fixed timetables for all the pending issues the Korean people concerns."

The seventh inter-Korean ministerial talks attracted much attention not only from local media and people, but from the world, since the inter-Korean ties had once been impacted by the inter-Korean naval clash on June 29 in the Yellow Sea.
