Bridge Collapse Kills 10 in Central China
The collapse of an almost completed bridge in central China's Henan Province killed 10 people and injured two Thursday afternoon.

Province killed 10 people and injured two Thursday afternoon.
The 46 meter bridge in a small town in Henan's Neixiang County collapsed at about 2:00 p.m. while workers were removing the scaffolding from under the bridge. At that time, two of the five bridge arches caved in, throwing more than 10 workers to the ground.
A rescue team rushed to the site immediately after the accidentand the injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
The local public security department has taken four people intocustody and is looking into the cause of the accident.
