China Unveils 12-member Roster for Basketball Worlds

China has finalized its 12-member roster for the upcoming 14th women's basketball world championship slated for September 14-25 in Jiangsu province, China.

China has finalized its 12-member roster for the upcoming 14th women's basketball world championship slated for September 14-25 in Jiangsu province, China.

The roster is composed of centers Chen Nan, Chen Xiaoli, Chen Luyun and Zhang Xiaoni, forwards Sui Feifei, Zhang Fan, Ren Lei and Miao Lijie who won the Most Valuable Player of year in the Chinese league, and guards Pan Wei, Miao Bo, Song Xiaoyun and Zhang Hanlan.

Liu Xiaohong and Ding Jianhong are the substitutes for the Chinese team, which was grouped with Brazil, Yugoslavia and Senegal.
