During his meeting with the Chinese delegation led by Wang Jiarui, deputy chief of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Colombian Senate Speaker Luis Alfredo Ramos said the Colombian Congress has closely watched the development of China's reforms and opening up over the past two decades and admires China's economic achievements.

It is of great significance for Colombia to further enhance economic exchanges and friendly relations with China at the very important stage of economic revival in the South American country, he stressed.
