Chinese men's volleyball team to warm up with Denmark for 2002 Championship

The Chinese men's volleyball team is to play five matches with visiting Denmark national squad to gear up for the 2002 world championship set for September 28-October 13 in Argentina.

The Chinese men's volleyball team is to play five matches with visiting Denmark national squad to gear up for the 2002 world championship set for September 28-October 13 in Argentina.

Source from the Chinese Volleyball Association said here Saturday that the China-Denmark games will be held in several cities in Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces of China from August 26 to September 2.

Denmark, which finished fourth in the men's volleyball competition at the 21st World University Games in Beijing, failed to qualify for this year's world championship which features 24 teams.

China have been drawn in Group A of the championship, alongside Australia, Portugal and hosts Argentina.
