Senior CPC Official Leaves for Norway, Iceland, Finland

Meng Jianzhu, an alternate member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, left Monday for a goodwill visit to Norway, Iceland and Finland.

Meng Jianzhu, an alternate member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, left Monday for a goodwill visit to Norway, Iceland and Finland.

Meng is visiting the three countries at the invitation of the Norwegian Labor Party and the governments of Iceland and Finland.

Meng, also secretary of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee, will study the three countries' experience in developing economies and establishing social security systems during his visit.
