Chinese Defense Minister Meets Polish Guests
Chinese Defense Minister Chi Haotian met Monday with Czeslaw Piatas, chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Poland, and his party.

Poland
, and his party.
Chi, also vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission and state councilor, said that in spite of the great changes in China and Poland as well as in the global situation in recent years, China and Poland have maintained traditional and friendly relations.
He noted that the Chinese armed forces have always held a positive attitude towards promoting friendly and cooperative ties with their Polish counterparts.
In recent years, bilateral military ties between China and Poland have developed smoothly and there have been increasing exchanges between the two military forces, said Chi.
He hoped with the joint efforts of both sides, the China-Poland military ties will gain steady and stable development.
Piatas said he hoped to further strengthen cooperation between Poland and China in all fields in the future.
