Six people were found shot to death at a rural house and a nearby mobile home in Alabama, the United States, the apparent victims of a homicide, local authorities said Wednesday.

The bodies, including those of three teen-age boys, were found inside and outside the homes near Rutledge after the police were called to the scene Tuesday, District Attorney John Andrews said in a brief statement.

Andrews did not name any suspect but he said that authorities were looking for two people believed to be witnesses.

Coleman Ball of nearby Greenville said the victims were all members of his family, including his mother, Mila Ruth Ball, 62, and his sister, Joann Ball, 35. He identified the other victims ashis nephews.
