Mongolia Hopes to Strengthen Freindly Cooperation with China

Mongolian Olympic Committee (MOC) president Zagdsuren said Wednesday that sports cooperation between Mongolia and China has been steadily established and Mongolia hopes to strengthen such freindly ties between the two Olympic committees.

Mongolian Olympic Committee (MOC) president Zagdsuren said Wednesday that sports cooperation between Mongolia and China has been steadily established and Mongolia hopes to strengthen such freindly ties between the two Olympic committees.

In a meeting with visiting Chinese Olympic Committee (COC) president Yuan Weimin, Zagdsuren said China has achieved greater impacts in the sports world in accordance with its social and economic development, and friendly cooperation between the two countries has been benefiting the development of sports mutually.

The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games will become the most successful Games in the Olympic history, and Mongolia will continue its steady support for the Beijing Olympic Games Organizing Committee, said Zagdsuren.

COC president Yuan expressed his thanks to the MOC for its support and hoped to further develop and exploit the sports exchanges between the two countries.

On the 2008 Olympic Games, Yuan said that the Organizing Committee has been set up on December 13 and its preparation worksare going on smoothly, including an Olympic Park and a Cultural and Sports Complex to be established at Wukesong, along Beijing's main boulevard of Changan street.

The prepartion efforts of the Beijing Olympic Games Organizing Committee have been acknowledged by the coordinating committee of the International Olympic Committee, Yuan said.

Yuan also expressed the confidence that Beijing will host a successful Olympic Games in 2008, and extended his hopes for Mongolia to achieve its best-ever Olympic success in Beijing.
