11th Asian Triathlon Championships to Kick off

The 11th Asian Triathlon Championships will be held in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province September 7-8.
536 athletes from 18 countries and regions will compete in the international event.

The 11th Asian Triathlon Championships will be held in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province September 7-8.

536 athletes from 18 countries and regions will compete in the international event.

Xuzhou hosted one leg of the Asian triathlon series and the national championships for the past two years, which attracted a field of over 1,000 athletes from home and abroad and a crowd of some one million.

The athletes will be divided into the following cattegories: Elite Men/Women,U/23 Men/Women,16-19 Junior Sprint Men/Women and Age group.

The championships distance is Olympic distance (Swim:1.5km, Bike:40km, Run: 10km; Total:51.5km ) and sprint distance is 25.75km(0.75km+20km+5km).
