Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has said all the signed agreements with the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) are invalid, an influential Israeli newspaper reported Friday.

According to Sharon, the landmark Oslo, Taba and Camp David agreements are no longer valid. "We are not going to get back to such situation again," the Maariv daily quoted Sharon as saying.

The right-wing Likud party leader also repeated the stand in an interview with the newspaper that he doesn't see Palestinian leaderYasser Arafat as a peace partner.

"The situation is related to a person" who had in decades followed "terrorism and killing that were considered as the most brutal actions," said Sharon.

The hawkish prime minister admitted he might look for another Palestinian peace partner, but declined to reveal what kind of a Palestinian leader he would like to see.

"There will be other people and it would be possible to negotiate with them on peace," he said, adding, "I'm not going to reveal names, but a few days ago a high-level Palestinian figure telephoned me and asked for a meeting, and I accepted to meet him."
