15 Dead, 51 Wounded in Afghan Clash

At least 15 were feared dead and more than 50 others wounded in fighting between the Afghan government forces and those of a warlord in the eastern city of Khost of Afghanistan Sunday, according to Afghan Islamic Press.

At least 15 were feared dead and more than 50 others wounded in fighting between the Afghan government forces and those of a warlord in the eastern city of Khost of Afghanistan Sunday, according to Afghan Islamic Press.

The Pakistan-based agency reported that there had been casualties on both the government side and warlord Padshah Khan Zadran during the fighting.

Quoting Mohammad Khan Gurbuz, spokesman for Khost governor Hakim Taniwal, it reported, "At least fifteen people have been killed, including civilians and more than 51 wounded in the fighting."
