Jiang Zemin Meets Motorola Chairman

Chinese President Jiang Zemin met in Beijing Tuesday with Motorola chairman and chief executive officer Christopher Galvin.

Jiang Meets Motorola Chairman
Chinese President Jiang Zemin met here Tuesday with Motorola chairman and chief executive officer Christopher Galvin.

Jiang spoke highly of the achievements Motorola has made in China, and extended appreciation and support for the economic and technical cooperation between the Chinese information industry and the multinational company.

He said he hoped that Motorola would further enhancing cooperation with its Chinese partners.

Briefing Jiang on the development and future strategy of Motorola in the Chinese market, Galvin said Motorola has full confidence in the Chinese market and will go into closer cooperation with China's information industry players.

Galvin is here at the invitation of the Chinese Ministry of Information Industry.
