Canon, the Japan-based office machine and camera vendor, said Tuesday that it aims to become the top market share holder in China for all of its products before 2005.

China will not only be a manufacturing base for Canon, but the company's third biggest market within 10 years, said Fujio Mitarai, president and chief executive officer of the company, quoted by Wednesday's China Daily.
