Chinese Olympic Team Beats Qatar Counterpart 2-0 in Soccer Friendly

The Chinese Olympic team beat the visiting Qatar Olympic team 2-0 in a soccer friendly match in Jinan of east China's Shandong Province on Saturday evening.

The Chinese Olympic team beat the visiting Qatar Olympic team 2-0 in a soccer friendly match in Jinan of east China's Shandong Province on Saturday evening.

Cao Yang scored the opening goal for China in the 26th minute by a header. China's substitute Yang Lin added the second goal eight minutes before the final whistle.

The Chinese Olympic team will leave for South Korea to participate in the forthcoming Asian Games to be held from Sept. 29-Oct.14 in Busan.
