Chinese Premier Concludes European Tour

Visiting Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji on Saturday evening left the southwestern French city of Toulouse, concluding his three-day official visit to France and three-nation tour in Europe.

Visiting Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji on Saturday evening left the southwestern French city of Toulouse, concluding his three-day official visit to France and three-nation tour in Europe.

In Toulouse, Zhu visited the Airbus assembly plants and attended the signing ceremony of the Accord of Cooperation on Air Safety between Airbus and the Chinese Civil Aviation Administration (CAAC).

He also visited the headquarters of Alcatel Space Industries here.

Mayor of Toulouse Philippe Douste-Blazy hosted a dinner in honor of Zhu, who arrived here from Paris on Saturday morning.

Before arriving Thursday in Paris, France, the last leg of his European tour, Zhu visited Austria and Denmark where he attended the Fourth Asia-Europe summit and the Fifth China-EU Summit.
