China delivered a harsh football lesson to the minnows Bangladesh as they stormed to a 3-0 victory in the Asiad soccer tournament at Masan Main Stadium on Monday.

It's the second consecutive win for China in their Group C matches.

The fast and skillful China proved to be more than a class above its opponent as it came out merciless and created a string of scoring chances.

Chinese head coach Shen Xiangfu, however, was not satisfied with his players' performance in the first half.

"It's too late for them to find the rhythm of the match, "said Shen, "and too many mistakes in the first half."

Wang Xinxin, the scoring leader of the Chinese first division, opened the scoring in the 34th minute following several well-knit passes among his teammates.

Bangladesh goalkeeper Biplab Bhattacharjee became the hero of his team, making several great saves to blunt the blistering attack of China.

But his brilliant performance was marred by an unforced error just before the break as his kick from the penalty was dramatically blocked by Chinese striker Yu Tao before the rebound slide into the net.

China continued to exert great pressure in the second half before midfielder Gao Ming headed home a right pass at the dying moment to seal the win.

India, another team in Group C, also won their second straight match by beating Turkmenistan 3-1 at Yangsan Public Stadium.

Turkmenistan's forward Didarklych opened the scoring in the 22nd minute. Defender Gawli Mahesh's corner in the 53rd minute handed Bhutia Baichung a golden chance to level for the India.

Just three minutes later forward Yadav Avhishek put India in the lead by volleying home with a powerful shot after he got the cross from his teammate Singgh Bijen.

Baichung added another when he got the pass from Mahesh and danced through two defenders to shot inside the box.

China and India will meet each other on Thursday to fight for the berth of quarterfinals.

South Korea stunned their challengers with a 5-2 victory over their Group A opponent Oman.

The floodgate didn't open until the second half as two gaols from Lee Chun-soo and the other two from Kim Du-hyun and Lee Dong-gook crashed the opponents' confidence at all.

In other matches playing Monday, Malaysia's Jamlus became the hero of his team by volleying three goals home to defeat Maldives 3-1. Thailand outplayed Vietnam 3-0 while United Arab Emirates beat Yemen 2-1.
