HKSAR Chief Executive Congratulates Gold Medal Winners

Tung Chee Hwa, chief executive ofthe Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), is delighted to learn that Chan Kwok-ming, Fu Ka Chun and Fung Kwok-wai have won the first gold medal for Hong Kong in the Snooker Teams Final in the 14th Busan Asian Games Thursday.

Tung Chee Hwa, chief executive ofthe Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), is delighted to learn that Chan Kwok-ming, Fu Ka Chun and Fung Kwok-wai have won the first gold medal for Hong Kong in the Snooker Teams Final in the 14th Busan Asian Games Thursday.

"We are much heartened by the remarkable performance of the Snooker Team. We are also proud of their achievement in winning the gold medal," Tung said.

Patrick Ho, secretary for home affairs, also commended the snooker team and other medallists for their outstanding performance in the Asian Games.

As of Thursday, a total of six medals were won by the HKSAR team, comprising one gold, two silver, and three bronze.
