The United States and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) have reached no agreement on further meetings during US presidential envoy's Pyongyang visit, reported national news agency Yonhap News Saturday afternoon.

US Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs James Kelly said he had "frank" talks in Pyongyang but so far there were no decisions on additional meetings at this time.

"I felt that our exchanges in Pyongyang were frank as befits the seriousness of our differences and they were useful too," Kelly told reporters on his trip to Pyongyang on Oct.3-5.

"There are no decisions on additional meetings at this time," he added.

Kelly ended his three-day visit and arrived in Seoul on Saturday morning. Later he briefed the result of his trip to South Korean Foreign Minister Choi Sung-hong as well as other officials.
