Chinese Vice-Premier Wu Bangguo met in Beijing on Thursday with Francisco Jose Rangel Gomez, president of the Venezuelan de Guayana Corporation (CVG).

Chinese Vice-Premier Wu Bangguo met in Beijing on Thursday with Francisco Jose Rangel Gomez, president of the Venezuelan de Guayana Corporation (CVG).

Wu said that China and Venezuela, having good bilateral relations, enjoyed expanding trade and economic ties and great potential for cooperation.

Wu expressed the hope that the guests' visit would boost their understanding of China and thereby contribute more to trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
