International Commerce Exposition Opens in Beijing

An international commerce exposition opened here Friday including high-technology enterprises such as Ruoy Chai Group, China Netcom Corporation, Sohu and Siemens.

An international commerce exposition opened in Beijing Friday including high-technology enterprises such as Ruoy Chai Group, China Netcom Corporation, Sohu and Siemens.

The exposition will provide commercial information exchange platforms for international enterprises, in a bid to promote international economic cooperation in telecommunications, tourism and trade.

A manager with China Netcom said that with the rapid growth of the Chinese economy and shift of the world market, information exchanges among commercial buildings in large cities demanded high-level network services. The most advanced e-commerce equipment would be showcased, he added.

During the exposition, tourism bureaus and travel agencies fromthe United States and Turkey will introduce new tourist routes.
