Beijing Olympics Committee Recruits Talents

The Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games (BOCOG) is inviting Chinese applications from home and abroad for 56 positions.

The Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games (BOCOG) is inviting Chinese applications from home and abroad for 56 positions.

Of all the posts, 42 are for management and 14 professional ones in 14 fields, including engineering, international cooperation, administration and information.

Ten of the vacancies are senior posts for applicants from all over China as well as among overseas Chinese, and the rest will befilled by recruits in Beijing, said the personnel director of BOCOG.

Applicants should submit their resumes before the end of this month. Those selected for the shortlist will take English and expertise tests between November and December.

BOCOG now has some 110 employees. Its staff will grow to over 4,000 when the Games are held in 2008.
